Welcome to the world of The Bondurants.
We are a six-piece Alt-Country and Heartland Rock band based out of Leeds, built on a decade-strong foundation of deep-rooted friendship, a shared love for storytelling, and a hell of a lot of noise. Named after the infamous, moonshine-running family, we trade in the kind of music that goes down best with a shot of whiskey—big, dynamic, and unapologetically honest.
Our Sound
Think warm, jangly guitars meeting the gritty edge of alternative rock, all driven by massive six-piece vocal harmonies. We like to bridge the gap between classic heartland hooks and a modern country edge. If you’re a fan of the anthemic rock of Kings of Leon, the timeless songwriting of Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen, or the modern country grit of Luke Combs, you’ll feel right at home here.
The Story So Far
We’ve spent the last few years bringing our high-impact live show to stages across the UK, quickly becoming a staple on the British country and roots circuit. Whether we’re playing intimate, packed-out venues or commanding festival crowds—including recent standout sets at Buckle & Boots, Maverick Festival, and Country Calling—our goal is always the same: to deliver a performance that is felt as much as it is heard.
That hard work on the road and in the studio didn’t go unnoticed, culminating in a proud milestone for us: being nominated for Group of the Year at the British Country Music Awards.
Along the way, we’ve been lucky enough to record at the legendary Chairworks Studios with producer David Watts (Kaiser Chiefs), pick up regular airplay and support from CountryLine Radio, and release music that we are incredibly proud of. From the soul-stirring hooks of our Take The Night Away EP to the driving, harmony-packed anthems of singles like “Home” and “No Time To Talk,” every track we write is designed to connect.
We write songs for the late nights, the long drives, and the crowded rooms. Thanks for being part of the journey—grab a drink, turn the volume up, and we’ll see you down the front at the next show.
